The Allotment, my refuge

‘The Allotment, my refuge’ is a series of 10 images exploring the allotments in Cambridge, UK, where I have a plot. I’m very much a beginner, having taken on the allotment in January, but at the moment this space has become a refuge from the lockdown, due to the efforts to tackle the Coronavirus (all the images were taken during April this year). I’ve used repetition to represent the simple rhythms and cycles which envelop these spaces, conveying with it a sense of peace and personal reflection that the allotment affords.
